Beachfront Park
This park on the shores of Lake Ontario is one of Pickering's premier parks. It's unique location and ecological features make it a feast for the eyes and a great place for birdwatching. It's also a great place for a game of beach volleyball in the summer.

Civic Dome Fitness Centre
The most diverse recreation complex in the Durham region offers a fully equipped strength and conditioning room, a 225-metre indoor track, 4 tennis courts, 2 badminton courts, 2 international squash courts a 25 yard pool and tot pool. It plays host to a variety of group fitness classes and other activities.

Civic Fields and Stadium
The Civic Stadium and Fields are part of the Civic Auditorium. The Civic Fields comprise 3 additional fields and change rooms that are available for use from May to November. The Civic Stadium houses the track facility and main field and has a seating capacity of 2,000.

Oshawa Arenas
The City of Oshawa has 5 arenas and a total of 9 ice surfaces. In winter, the ice surfaces are used for skating, hockey and ringette. The new Legends Centre maintains ice all year. During spring and summer the arena floors become available for lacrosse, ball hockey and in-line skating.
