Dental Health (CINOT)

Dental Health (CINOT) The Children in Need of Treatment (CINOT) program currently provides emergency dental care to low-income children from birth to age 13. As of January 1, 2009, the program was expanded to include children up to their 18th birthday. It will also provide out-of-hospital anaesthetic coverage for children age five to 17.


Healthy Communities Fund

Healthy Communities FundThe Healthy Communities Fund (HCF) Program Stream provides non-capital funding to organizations for the delivery of integrated health promotion initiatives in communities across Ontario. Projects play a key role in helping Ontarians lead healthy and active lives. 


Public Health in Ontario

To meet the needs of our population, the ministry works very closely with 36 Public Health Units that are geographically located throughout the province. By working together, we develop partnerships and networks that support healthy initiatives and education – at the community level.
