Incorporated not-for-profit organizations, First Nations and other incorporated Aboriginal organizations with a provincial scope, are encouraged to submit a statement of interest based upon the priorities identified in the Healthy Communities Fund Provincial Guidelines. Collaborative projects, where two or more organizations are committed to working in partnership to achieve common goals, are required.
Applicants seeking support for initiatives are asked to submit a Statement of Interest (template available online) by June 24, 2009 at 12:00 noon. Submissions received after this date will be considered, pending availability of funds.
Who can apply?
Collaborative projects - where two or more organizations committed to working in partnership to achieve common goals in the community - are required. Eligible organizations include:
- Incorporated not-for-profit organizations that have a provincial mandate (except provincial sport organizations, or multi-sport organizations) that have operated and been incorporated for at least one year;
- First Nations;
- Aboriginal organizations that are incorporated.
