The 16th Pan American Games which were held from October 14–30, 2011 in Guadalajara, Mexico, are being followed by the Parapan Games to be held from November 12-20. The Games are being organized by the Guadalajara 2011 Organizing Committee.
A section of the West Don Lands community will be used as the Toronto 2015 Pan/Parapan American Games Athletes’ Village. The section of the West Don Lands that will be used during the Games is being developed by Waterfront Toronto in partnership with Infrastructure Ontario.
Infrastructure Ontario, Waterfront Toronto and the Ontario Realty Corporation are working with Toronto 2015 to develop the section of West Don Lands that will be home to the Athletes’ Village.
